Description from the seller

An elegant and finely modeled Dehua-style "Blanc de Chine" porcelain figure depicting Amitabha Buddha (the Buddha of Infinite Light) seated in dhyanasana (full lotus position). The hands are gracefully folded in the lap in dhyana mudra, the classic gesture of absolute meditation and spiritual balance.
The piece is coated in a beautiful, thick, and translucent glaze with the characteristic soft milky-white tone and gentle glossy finish typical of high-quality Dehua porcelain.
The sculptural work displays smooth, fluid lines, featuring a meticulously rendered curled ushnisha (the cranial bump symbolizing wisdom), a distinct urna on the forehead, and deeply incised, naturally cascading folds of the monastic robe. The figure is hollow-cast from the inside, showing a clean, unglazed interior with a firing hole and natural age-related discoloration on the unglazed foot rim. A wonderful cabinet piece of excellent proportions for collectors of early 20th-century Chinese porcelain.

Dimensions: Height: 13 cm, Width: 12 cm
Condition: Excellent collection condition. Free of any damages—no chips, no cracks, no hairlines, and absolutely no restorations. Completely intact (the unglazed bottom rim shows only minor firing imperfections and light shelf wear consistent with its age).
