Victorian-era English in Walnut Burl Sideboard/Server
Elegant English sideboard from the Victorian period crafted in palisander wood, characterized by a sober structure but enriched with refined carved details. The piece features a lower body closed by two paneled doors, with splendid natural palisander grain visible, which adds depth and movement to the surface.
The lower cornice is enhanced by a continuous raised relief and carved elements at the corners with foliate motifs, typical of the English taste of the 19th century. The upper part consists of an elevated section with a shelf and a back panel, supported by turned columns and embellished laterally by elegant shaped volutes, which give dynamism and harmony to the whole.
Internally the piece offers a large compartment with a central shelf, ideal for storing tableware, silver, or dining room objects. The back is finished in wood, allowing it to be placed not necessarily against a wall.
