Chinese gold-plated silver bracelet with 5 gourd shaped mineral stones –China- 21th Century
On offer is a very fine bracelet with 5 fine reddish translucent gourd shaped amethyst or quartz mineral stones. The gourd shape is believed to bring luck to the wearer. The bracelet is marked as gold-plated 925/1000 silver (please see quality mark 925), both at the end of the bracelet and on the clasp, see photos.
The separate stones have been identified as amethyst or quartz by measuring thermal conductivity and hardness and translucency. Also checked with UV light; which indicates a natural color. Provenance: This bracelet comes from inland China. a Good quality jewel, very suitable to present as a gift! Please see test results and pictures.
