​Lot Description
​Magnificent table lamp or nightstand lamp in perfect Space Age style, dating from the 1970s. The lamp stands out for its iconic swiveling spherical bulb shade ("Eyeball") in a vivid shiny red, supported by a flat chrome-plated metal stem with characteristic geometric perforations (as visible in 1000050330.jpg).
​Main features:
​Design & Functionality: The spherical shade can be tilted and directed at will via the black side knob, allowing the light beam to be aimed according to needs (see 1000050328.jpg and 1000050329.jpg). The stem also features a metal cable ferrule ring.
​Materials: Red-painted metal/steel base and shade; bright chrome-plated upright. Bottom base covered with protective black felt with a blue-edged edge (see 1000050333.jpg).
