Beautifull mid-century vintage Hungarian Art Deco ceramic sculpture from the famous "Darabos Kerámia" studio. Designed by the highly regarded Hungarian studio potter Iván Darabos (1911–1983), this figurine depicts a young peasant boy or country lad in traditional rustic attire, firmly holding two bright yellow ducks or geese under his arms.
The sculpture features a vibrant high-gloss glaze palette with deep blacks, crisp whites, bold earthy orange boots, and vivid canary yellow ducks.
The bottom of the base is fully marked for the authenticity.
It features the sharp, impressed inverted-triangle studio stamp reading "DARABOS KERÁMIA" alongside his signature monogram. Original hand-written workshop inventory/mold codes in graphite are also cleanly visible on the raw underside.
