A magnificent and exceptionally large silver-plated serving tray by the prestigious French silversmith Christofle, dating from the early 20th century.

This elegant tray features a finely hand-engraved floral decoration with flowing botanical motifs, intertwined ribbons, and a central rosette medallion, all set against a delicately stippled background. The design is framed by a broad raised border and complemented by beautifully shaped double-scroll handles, combining refined craftsmanship with timeless elegance.

The underside bears the authentic Christofle balance hallmark, together with the model number 112 and production number 117488, confirming its authenticity and manufacture by Christofle in France.

With impressive dimensions of 74 × 52 cm, this is a monumental banquet-size serving tray, considerably larger than the majority of Christofle trays encountered on today's market. Its generous proportions make it ideal as an impressive serving piece or an elegant decorative object.

The tray remains in very good antique condition. The silver plating is well preserved, and the engraved decoration remains crisp and attractive. It shows only light surface scratches and signs of careful use consistent with its age, with no visible major dents or repairs.
