Elegant modernist sculpture from the late 19th century representing the Virgin “Our Lady of Sorrows,” made in a metal alloy with a bronze-tone patina and delicate greenish nuances.
The figure presents a sober and expressive modeling, with the veil partially over the head and a tunic with two small frontal folds.
The work transmits a contained and serene sorrow, characteristic of Art Nouveau. Mounted on a square base, it is kept in very good condition, with a homogeneous and attractive patina.
Dimensions: Height 30 x W 16 x L 13 cm.
Weight - 3.4 Kg.
Sculpture in excellent condition exclusive collector piece. Retains the age patina very well preserved, it should be noted that the marble support with vertices with grimaces does not affect its use and can be easily replaced.
