Description from the seller
GENERAL INFORMATION:
We offer for sale a splendid Citroën 2CV in excellent overall condition. The car has had a single owner and has been used rarely, mainly for short summer trips. About twenty years ago, the car underwent a professional restoration that has preserved its charm over the years.
BODYWORK AND PAINTWORK:
The bodywork is in excellent condition and shows no rust. The paint remains very glossy, although there are a few small surface imperfections due to the car’s age and the classic vibrations typical of this model. The sills are in excellent condition, both inside and underneath the body. The canvas roof has recently been replaced with a high-quality new one; the original roof, which has only a small hole, is included with the car.
TECHNICAL CONDITION:
The mechanical parts and the engine are in excellent condition, making the car ready for immediate use. The tires are new and have been recently fitted. The exhaust silencer may be visible in the photos, but the entire exhaust system has recently been replaced with a new one. The electrical system has been completely overhauled and functions correctly. Although the car is road-legal, a general check or service is recommended before using it regularly on the road.
INTERIOR:
The interior is very clean and shows no significant wear, giving an excellent overall appearance considering the car’s age. The cabin preserves the authenticity and essence typical of the Citroën 2CV and offers a welcoming and well-cared-for environment.
DOCUMENTATION:
The car is supplied with all the necessary documentation for ownership transfer or potential export. Additional detailed photos and videos of the car are available on the Catawiki platform upon request.
PICK-UP / TRANSPORT:
The car can be viewed in Ragusa and has a valid periodic inspection certificate. We are available to assist with arranging transport and the bureaucratic procedures. All related costs are entirely borne by the buyer.
OTHER INFORMATION:
This Citroën 2CV represents a fantastic opportunity for both collectors and enthusiasts of classic French cars, thanks to the unique combination of a single owner, absence of rust, and recent maintenance, which makes it suitable for road use.

Buyers are responsible for vehicle's registration, not the seller or Catawiki.
Request help with registration from a third-party service provider.Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
