Crystal Baccarat lamp.

Crystal ball lamp for Baccarat by Jacques Adnet (1900-1984). Collaboration between Adnet and Baccarat (1925). Jacques Adnet was a pioneer in combining metal and glass to serve practical furniture while remaining elegant and high-end.

The lamp is formed of a solid crystal ball freely pivoting on the bowl of a circular base in patinated nickel-plated bronze.

Model listed in the Baccarat catalog 1925, model 7706. An example of the lamp is visible at the Baccarat Museum in Paris and at the museum in Baccarat. Model also presented in the book "Baccarat 250" by Rizzoli, page 352.

Lampe boule de cristal pour Baccarat par Jacques Adnet (1900-1984). Collaboration entre Adnet et Baccarat (1925). Jacques Adnet fut un pionnier à combiner le métal et le verre pour servir un mobilier pratique tout en restant élégant et haut de gamme.

La lampe est formée d'une boule de cristal massif pivotant librement sur la cuvette d'une base circulaire en bronze nickelé patiné.
