Offered here is an Asahi Pentax Super-Multi-Coated TAKUMAR 35mm f/3.5, a classic Japanese manual-focus wide-angle lens with an M42 screw mount.

The lens is in very good cosmetic condition for its age and shows only minimal signs of previous use. The barrel appears clean and well preserved. The engraved markings remain clear, and there are no major dents or significant damage.
Under normal daylight inspection, no scratches, fungus or noticeable haze are visible on the optical elements. The internal optics also appear clean and clear. As with any vintage lens, a few extremely fine dust particles or other minor age-related traces that are difficult to detect may still be present, but no significant optical defects have been observed. These are not expected to affect normal photographic use.
All mechanical functions have been checked and are operating properly. The focus ring turns smoothly with a consistent feel, the aperture ring functions correctly, and the aperture blades are clean and operate properly, with no visible oil or stickiness.
