Golden bronze processional cross with Christ in relief – 19th century - Belgium
Important processional cross (90 cm) in gilded bronze, mounted on a tubular staff. The Christ in relief presents expressive modeling, with traces of wear and devotion visible (old, homogeneous patina). Trilobed ends with radiating decorative motifs, typical of 19th-century liturgical production.
There is a copper cartouche attached, probably fixed long ago, adorned with engraved motifs (possibly votive or commemorative in function).
Good structural condition, with wear, oxidation and old soldering repairs visible, consistent with real liturgical use.
