Extremely rare Etruscan bronze votive idol from Umbria of the 6th century BC, a standing figure with arms and legs apart, 4.3 cm high and 1.2 cm wide, with eyes, chest and navel depicted as cold-stamped circles, in good condition with excavation patina; provenance France via Galerie P.T.L.; authentic original.
Description from the seller
Very rare Umbrian idol bronze statuette, stylized in its depiction. Rare and charming Etruscan votive statuette with an elongated torso, dressed in a long robe. It is presented standing, arms and legs spread apart. The eyes, chest and navel are represented by cold-stamped circles. The limbs are slender, the head pointed with simple features.
Height 4.3 cm - width 1.2 cm
