Description from the seller

Myott - dessert/fruit service (7 pieces) - Model "The Hunter" - Ironstone ceramic - England - Mid-20th century

Elegant vintage dessert and fruit service of 7 pieces produced in England by the Myott Staffordshire manufactory in the second half of the twentieth century. The set belongs to the famous The Hunter collection and features refined monochrome transferware decorations in brown tones on a cream background, centered on traditional fox-hunting scenes in the English countryside. The lot comprises a large main serving bowl and six coordinating dessert cups for individual portions, all made in durable ironstone ceramic and regularly marked on the bottom with the original inscription that guarantees color stability over time. All pieces are in excellent cosmetic condition, without chips or obvious crazing, and ready for use or collecting.

Seller's Story

For over 20 years, I have dedicated myself passionately to the search for and trading of special, rare, curious objects from any era. Every piece I select has something that catches my attention: it can be the shape, the story, the unusual aspect, or simply that detail that makes it unique. I am always searching for objects that speak, that tell something to those who know how to listen. I choose them carefully, photograph them honestly, and describe them as accurately as possible. Selling on this Catawiki to share this passion with those who, like me, love to surround themselves with things with a soul.
