Antique bronze apothecary mortar dating from 1850–1900, with a rich patina, measuring 12.5 cm high, 16 cm wide, 11.5 cm in diameter and weighing about 1.78 kg.

Large Bronze Apothecary Mortar.
The upper rim bears the historic inscription "JACQUES SERKE HEFT MY GHEGOTEN A°1576", while the body is decorated with a heraldic shield, rampant lions, a knight's helmet, and robust dolphin-form handles.
The bronze has developed a rich chocolate-brown patina, with authentic oxidation inside and honest wear to the base.
