English Country House Auction

Rectangular wooden Victorian chest, made in black-lacquered wood with an inlaid shield-shaped cartouche on the lid. The interior is finished with beautifully figured root walnut veneer and equipped with a hinged inner flap. The chest is finished with a brass lock and brass hinges.
Key and fragment inlay are missing. The lot is carefully packed and sent by registered mail.

Rechthoekige houten Victoriaanse kist, uitgevoerd in zwart gelakt hout met een ingelegd schildvormig cartouche op het deksel. Het interieur is afgewerkt met fraai gevlamd wortelnotenhoutfineer en voorzien van een scharnierende binnenklep. De kist is afgewerkt met een messing slot en messing scharnieren. 
Sleutel en fragment inlegwerk ontbreekt. Kavel wordt met zorg verpakt en aangetekend verzonden.
