A vintage Swedish hand‑hammered copper saucepan dating to ca. 1745–1760, with a hand‑forged iron handle, rolled rim and a 26 cm diameter body.

Exceptional 18th C. Swedish Hand-Hammered Copper Kastrull c.1745, also known as: Swedish copper saucepan
*Dimensions & Weight:*
Diameter: 26 cm | Height: 14 cm | Handle: 25 cm | Weight: 1.8 kg confirmed on scale - Photo 1.
*18th Century Swedish Features - See Photos:*
1. *Hand-Forged Iron Handle:* 3 hand-hammered copper rivets on forged plate. Typical Swedish 1740-1760.
Cast handles appear only after 1820. Photo 2.
2. *Rolled Rim:* No wire edge. Bord roulé technique. Photo 2.
3. *Thick Copper Body:* 2.5-3mm thick walls. Modern pans are 1.2mm. Photo 4.
4. *Original Patina:* Interior and exterior with layers of soot and verdigris from open-fire use. Do not polish.

*Condition:* Very good antique condition with honest age and use. Acquired in Sweden.
*Important:* Photos are of the actual item. This is a collector's piece, not for modern cooking.

Important information: The lid does not appear to be 100% original to the saucepan. It may be from the 1700s or early 1800s. I want to be completely transparent with the buyer.
The saucepan itself is hand-hammered copper c.1745 with hand-forged rivets.
