Recliner Armchair "The Great Eastern" – English Colonial Style
Elegant recliner in English colonial style, inspired by classic British Victorian furniture. Made of solid wood with a dark walnut finish, it features refined contoured sides and a comfortable seat with a tufted backrest upholstered in original green leatherette.
Designed to offer maximum comfort for reading and relaxation, it is ideal for furnishing professional studios, libraries, living rooms, and environments with a classic and refined taste.
The backrest is fully manually adjustable: the tilt is changed by unscrewing the side knobs and removing the brass support bar, allowing the chair to be positioned and locked at the desired incline. At the bottom, the six-button section lacks the leather cover, as shown in the photo.
Distinguished by the plaque "The Great Eastern – Liverpool 1811", the chair dates to the second half of the 20th century, roughly between the 1970s and 1990s.
