Elegant mahogany bureau bookcase (secretary desk) featuring a traditional fall-front writing surface, four graduated drawers and a finely arranged interior fitted with pigeonholes, three small drawers and a central lockable cupboard.

The fall-front opens to reveal a green leather writing surface with a decorative gilt-tooled border, providing a practical and refined workspace. The drawer fronts display attractive mahogany veneers with a rich natural grain, complemented by solid brass handles and matching brass side carrying handles.

The bureau combines generous storage with classic design, making it equally suitable as a writing desk, home office piece or decorative furniture for a study or living room.

The piece is in used condition, showing signs of age and use, including minor surface wear, light scratches and small imperfections consistent with its age. The writing surface, drawers and interior remain in good overall condition. The original key is included for the central interior cupboard.
