Folding screen - Walnut, Gobelin tapestry - Folding Screen – Historicism 1890

Three-part folding screen from Historicism, manufactured around 1890, in an elegant Rococo style. The room divider features a darkly stained wooden frame with a curved decorative crown in the middle section. The panels are upholstered with a detailed Gobelin tapestry fabric depicting a classical regal scene in a park landscape. On the front and back of the middle element there is a vertical age-related reddish discoloration. The wooden frame is in sturdy and good condition. A decorative collectible piece for historic interiors.
