AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Beautiful and decorative pair of Chinese bronze candlesticks, executed in Qing style and richly adorned with mythical dragons, taotie masks, cloud ornaments and finely worked archaic geometric motifs. The candlesticks display a dark, naturally aged patina and are made from a heavy copper alloy (not magnetic).
Both pieces stand 26 cm high and weigh about 1,225 grams each, underscoring the solid craftsmanship. The interior shows traces of the original manufacture and natural oxidation characteristic of copper alloys.
The candlesticks are in good antique condition with normal signs of use appropriate to their age. One foot shows an old restoration, visible in the photos. This has been noted in the description and does not detract from the decorative appearance of the pair.
An impressive and rare pair that would fit well in a collection of Chinese art, Asian objects, or antique bronzes.
