Two figures belonging to Maracatu, a vibrant Afro-Brazilian cultural and musical manifestation originating from the state of Pernambuco, in the Northeast of Brazil. It combines music, dance, and street parades, standing out for its powerful percussion rhythms and its deep historical symbolism. Made by the well-known artisan Luiz Carlos.
Apart from the measurements stated above, the second figure measures 18 x 11 x 20 cm and weighs 818 g.
