Beautifully designed antique brass bowl decorated with engravings of dragons and fish with ocean waves. The bowl was made in China during the Qing Dynasty with a "Da Ming Xuande Nian Zhi" mark, which refers to the Ming Dynasty. These bowls were used as incense bowls, singing bowls, or water bowls in temples.

The inscription 大明宣德年製 means "Made during the Xuande years of the Great Ming Dynasty".

Schitterend vormgegeven antieke messing kom welke is versierd met gravures van draken en vissen met oceaangolven. De kom is gemaakt in China tijdens de Qing-dynastie met een "Da Ming Xuande Nian Zhi" merkteken, wat verwijst naar de Ming-dynastie. Deze kommen werden gebruikt als wierookkom, klankschaal of waterschaal in tempels.

De inscriptie 大明宣德年製 betekent "Gemaakt tijdens de Xuande jaren van de grote Ming Dynastie".
