Set of five office seal stamps with virgin matrices, in bronze, nacre, crystal, bone and brass, dating to 1850-1900 from France, in good condition with patina and minor age-related wear.

Exceptional Set of 5 Office Wax Seals "Fin de Siècle" – Art Nouveau & 19th Century
Meeting of five seals to seal (virgin matrices) presenting a superb panel of the decorative arts from the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. Objects of high curiosity, perfect for a writing desk cabinet or a display collection.
Lot details:
• Art Nouveau Seal in Bronze: Master piece with naturalist decoration of ivy and berries, symbol of good luck. Beautiful patina with original medallion Patina. Signed in relief at the base "Pil" (art publisher). French work circa 1900.
• Mother-of-Pearl Seal: Flat handle in iridescent mother-of-pearl of great finesse. Ring and base in worked brass. Elegant typical of 19th-century feminine writing necessities.
• Faceted Crystal Seal: Faceted body offering superb plays of light. Crystal work (Baccarat / Saint-Louis style) from the second half of the 19th century.
• Bone Seal: Turned handle with baluster, Napoléon III style. Classic and timeless.
• Fleur de Lys Seal: In bronze, heraldic motif in relief, circular base.
Condition:
Good used condition. Patina of time preserved. Note that the five matrices are blank, allowing for personalized engraving.
