Beautiful vintage glass tray from the 1930s-1940s – Germany
Atmospheric vintage tray originating from Germany, dating from the 1930s-1940s. The tray is made of glass with a decoration in reverse glass technique. The striking deep red background forms a beautiful contrast with the cream-white and gold decorations.
The decoration consists of a richly detailed central floral rosette with graceful leaf and fan shapes, finished with a refined gold-colour scroll border along the outer edge. This elegant combination of warm colors and decorative motifs gives the tray a chic appearance that is characteristic of the Art Deco period.
The rim, handles and underside are made of metal, providing a stylish and sturdy finish. A decorative collectible that can also be excellent as a serving tray or interior decor.
Condition:
In good vintage condition with normal signs of use appropriate for its age. There is light wear to the decoration, as visible in the photos. This does not detract from the lovely appearance of the tray.
