Description from the seller
Scientific identification:Oviraptorosaur-type dinosaur egg
Specimen: Pair of fossil dinosaur eggs preserved in matrix
Common name: Oviraptor-type dinosaur egg fossil
Period: Cretaceous
Origin: China
Size: Approximately 23 cm × 22 cm
Condition: Fossil specimen with visible cracks, matrix, mineral staining, shell texture and possible restoration/stabilization traces
This specimen is a fossil pair of Oviraptor-type dinosaur eggs preserved together in natural matrix. The two elongated oval eggs show visible eggshell texture, natural cracking patterns, mineral staining and partial shell preservation on the surface.
The eggs are partly exposed from the surrounding matrix, giving the specimen a strong three-dimensional display appearance. The surface shows natural cracks, repaired areas, matrix adhesion and possible stabilization traces, which are commonly seen in fossil dinosaur egg specimens.
This fossil is suitable for natural history collection, educational display, cabinet decoration or museum-style presentation.
A striking fossil dinosaur egg pair with clear elongated egg shape and visible eggshell surface texture, making it an attractive display specimen.
