The antique silver mint box is of the round contoured type. It features a fine engraving of floral motifs on the lid; the bottom is finished in a delicate rib guilloche technique. The edge of the lid and the bottom edge have a fine edge engraving in a rib pattern.

Silver hallmarks:
lopend leeuwtje (2e gehalte zilver, 833/1000) - Minerva head M Schoonhoven - year letter V 1855 - master mark silversmith K1 (A. Kooiman. Schoonhoven. 1837/1860).

Dimensions:
diameter 5.5 cm and a weight of 28 g.

Condition:
in good condition with normal signs of use/age - see photos (these are part of the description and condition).

Het antieke zilveren pepermuntdoosje is van het ronde gecontourneerde type. Heeft op het deksel een fijne gravering van florale motieven, onderkant is afgewerkt in een fijne rib guillocheertechniek De rand van het dekseltje en de onderrand hebben een fijne randgravering in ribmodel.
