Brand Polaroid, Model/Supercolor 645 LM Program, Physical condition very good, Functional condition tested and working.
Description from the seller
The Polaroid brand is linked to a revolutionary chemical process tested in 1929 by Dr. Edwin Land, which used a support that already contained the reagents necessary for developing the image inside it. In 1947 the first Polaroid camera was born, through which photographs could be obtained a few seconds after the shot. Because of its ease of use, the Polaroid system achieved enormous success, although the print quality never reached the level of traditional photographic printing.
The Polaroid Supercolor 645 uses the new Polaroid 600 (640 ASA) color film. These films are of the ‘self-developing’ type like the previous SX-70. Each loader serves for 10 shots.
With the Polaroid Supercolor 645 one obtains color photographs of the format 7.9 cm x 7.9 cm on waterproof cardboard measuring 8.8 cm x 10.8 cm.
The camera is of the Focus Free type. The lens is therefore always in focus for all distances between approximately 1.20 m and infinity.
This camera features a programmed electronic light meter.
The device has an incorporated electronic flash.
The power for the operation of the camera and the flash is supplied by the battery inserted in the film holder.
