25 old plates – Vermeren-Coché Manufacture – Ixelles, Brussels – Belgian faience – 19th c.
Exceptional set of 25 plates perfectly identical, originating from an important service of tableware of more than 200 pieces. This kind of complete series has become rare on the market of antique tableware. The emerald green decoration complemented by a rich gilding illustrates the refinement of Belgian productions of the second half of the 19th century. The plates are remarkably well preserved, with no gloss loss or cracks.
