Offered here is the Märklin 58091 Gauge 1 “China Express” passenger car set consisting of two Era IV carriages in very good condition.

These models have never been used on a layout, and both carriages remain in good cosmetic and mechanical condition.
This set has been in long-term storage since new, and while the carriages are untouched, the original outer box has suffered erosion and is no longer included. The sale includes only the original Märklin plastic inner retainer box, which securely houses each carriage.

Each carriage features:

• Detailed interiors and underframes
• Functional sliding doors
• Metal wheels and sprung buffers
• Märklin Gauge 1 couplers
These cars are long discontinued and rarely offered in unused condition. Ideal for collectors.

In the event of airline damage during shipping, the buyer warrants to the seller to keep all packaging and protection material and the damaged item for the airline claim inspection which will follow after delivery of the shipment failing which the buyer automatically waives his right to hold the seller responsible for remedial replacement, repair and or compensation. However, if the item after inspection by the buyer is found to be in order within 3 days after delivery, then the packaging material can be disposed of. By bidding, the buyer signifies his agreement.
