Rare antique miniature album dating from the late 19th century, preserved in its original composition.
This elegant salon album features a burgundy embossed rigid binding with gold metal clasps, characteristic of the small precious albums of the Belle Époque.
The interior includes 30 old chromolithographs inserted in their original spaces.
The chromos are not glued and can be removed individually.
The set brings together various scenes typical of the end of the 19th century: military scenes, children's scenes, fantasy images, old commercial chromolithographs, vintage photographic memories of the era.
The majority of the chromolithographs feature beautiful metallic gold backgrounds, typical of high-quality French productions of that period.
The thick matte pages with embossed windows as well as the album’s refined presentation make it a fine example of bourgeois memory albums from the Belle Époque.

Condition:
Good general antique condition with wear consistent with age:
- small cracks,
- old traces of time,
- minor deformations, discreet edge wear and binding wear.
Presence of old damp traces and old mold visible mainly on the endpapers at the beginning and end of the album (see photos).
These traces remain localized and do not affect the overall good preservation of the 30 chromolithographs.
The set remains particularly decorative and well preserved for an album of this era.
