Offered is a beautiful and extremely compact Tower-16 subminiature camera, an icon from the heyday of espionage and miniature photography in the 1950s. This mechanical precision camera was manufactured by the renowned Mamiya Camera Company in Japan and exclusively distributed by the American department store chain Sears, Roebuck & Co. under the brand name 'Tower'. The camera is designed for special 16mm film cassettes and produces negatives of 10x14 mm. The device is equipped with a sharp Tower Mamiya 25mm f/3.5 lens with manual aperture settings (f/3.5 to f/11) and an adjustable shutter speed and film speed selector. This specific example is in very nice visual condition with minimal signs of use, appropriate for its age.
