Ford Mustang Convertible - C Code, 1966, with a 289 V8 and automatic transmission in black exterior.
Description from the seller
GENERAL:
This is a first-generation Mustang and it is in the original color Raven Black! The car comes from a long-term owner and is in very nice condition. The previous owner has kept the car very well, a must for the true Mustang enthusiast!
With the nice options such as a power top, styled steel wheels, white walls and of course an automatic transmission. This Mustang offers an authentic and comfortable 1960s driving experience. A highly sought-after classic among collectors and enthusiasts, especially since the car is originally black from the factory
This beautiful American classic combines timeless styling with the pure driving experience of a V8 convertible.
BODYWORK & PAINT:
The Mustang is in decent body condition, clean and straight, with nice lines. The paint has a lovely gloss and perfectly highlights the elegant shapes of this convertible. The glass and chrome are in very good condition around the exterior, with many chrome parts brand new!
TECHNICAL:
Under the hood lies the reliable 289 V8 (C-Code), paired with a smoothly shifting transmission. The Mustang drives as you would expect from a classic V8: powerful, smooth, and with the distinctive deep V8 rumble.
INTERIOR:
The interior is finished in a very nice coordinating black and is in very good condition. Much has been replaced/newly fitted, including the carpeting and the seat and door coverings. Also here a lot of chrome parts, etc.
DOCUMENTS:
Supplied with the necessary documentation for registration within Europe, EU registration
PICKUP:
The Ford Mustang can be picked up after the auction in Appingedam. Transport can be arranged upon request.

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
