Antique and spectacular black forest-style writing lectern, original from Germany, dating from the second half of the 19th century, crafted in oak wood with beautiful floral motifs carved in the wood itself, finished by the craftsmen of the era, with a precious interior featuring 3 compartments and 2 inkwells with floral decorations and a handwritten note, in good condition for its age. Era-appropriate locking mechanism to be checked and key. A true, unique and elegant collectible piece. An exceptionally outstanding item that will decorate any corner.
