A pair of Chinese ceramic guardian lions, each seated on a pierced rectangular pedestal and covered in a vibrant turquoise-blue glaze. The figures are finely modelled with open mouths, curled manes and ornamental collars. One lion rests a paw on a cub, while the other rests a paw on a pierced brocade ball. The undersides bear impressed marks.

Size:
each Height 15.5cm × Width 7cm × Diameter 5cm

Condition:
In excellent overall condition, with glaze crazing and minor age-related surface wear. Please examine the photographs carefully.
