Description from the seller
GENERAL:
This is a Volkswagen T3 Camper van from 1982 with approximately 84,000 kilometers covered. It is an original unit intended from its origin for the Spanish market and has had a single owner since it was new, having been used only on weekends, which justifies its low mileage. The Volkswagen T3, introduced in the late 70s as the third generation of the brand’s iconic commercial vehicle, represented a significant technical evolution by maintaining the rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive configuration while offering a considerably larger interior space and a more angular, robust design. This particular unit is in full condition to road-prepare and there are very few similar options on the market in this state of preservation.
BODYWORK AND PAINT:
The exterior of the vehicle retains its original paint in good overall condition, showing only some minor practical scratches from use, but it is completely free of dents. The only elements that have received repainting work are the wheel arches. The undercarriage and floors are in good condition, remaining completely original and never requiring welding of any kind, while the sills are pristine and show no rust or damage.
MECHANICS:
The technical and mechanical aspect remains in very good working order. The engine runs wonderfully and the gearbox responds perfectly in every shift. All mechanical and electrical components, including lights and wipers, operate correctly and precisely, and it has also passed its corresponding inspection at an official Volkswagen workshop.
INTERIOR:
The interior cabin stands out for being beautiful, in very good condition, and fully original. The seats feature well-preserved upholstery with no rips or tears of any kind, while the carpet is immaculate and the headliner is like new.
DOCUMENTATION:
The vehicle is delivered with all its paperwork in order, including the Spanish registration, the current ITV (Spanish vehicle inspection), the service book validating its maintenance, and a Carfax report for the buyer’s peace of mind.
PICKUP:
The van is located in Spain and can be viewed and picked up specifically in the town of Pineda de Mar, postal code 08397, in the province of Barcelona. It is important to note that offers on the lot do not include transport or export costs, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
OTHER INFORMATION:
The sellers offer to arrange professional cleaning of the vehicle prior to delivery and have extensive experience in professional transport services across the European Union and worldwide, and they are fully available to interested parties to facilitate this process. Vehicle videos are available for those who wish to verify additional details, and if there is interest in a physical visit to see this T3 in person, the coordinators will be happy to show it beforehand.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
