Description from the seller

Beautiful and 100% original vintage advertising display / bottle holder from the iconic Scottish whisky brand "Black & White". This rare collectible (breweriana) dates from the 1940s/1950s and was made by the well-known British manufacturer Curzon Enterprises Ltd. in London. Unlike the later plastic variants from the 1970s, this early specimen is entirely made from authentic plaster. The display features the brand's world-famous mascots: the black Scottish Terrier and the white West Highland White Terrier. The object originally served as exclusive promotional material and was lent by the distillery to high-end pubs. It bears the original, authentic text in relief: 'Property of James Buchanan & Co Ltd "Trade Mark Registered" Curzon Enterprises Ltd'. The display is in fantastic vintage condition considering its age and the fragility of the material. Very unique: the extremely fragile ears and paws of the dogs are completely intact and the lettering at the front is sharp and perfectly legible. An absolute eyecatcher for a mancave, home bar, or as a valuable addition to a collection of antique drink memorabilia!
