The JBL E80 speaker systems literally form the heart of JBL technology. They are three-way speakers with an open enclosure. They feature a 19 mm (3/4") titanium-coated tweeter mounted in the frames of the patented EOS (Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal) horn. This horn was originally developed for the JBL Pro LSR studio monitors and is now used in other series as well. It provides a wide polar pattern for the high frequencies.
