Superb large porcelain vase from the Meissen factory, hand-decorated with the famous Green Ming Dragon motif depicting a green dragon pursuing the sacred pearl, a traditional symbol of power, prosperity and wisdom.
This elegant baluster shape is enhanced with a gold lustre at the neck and base. The decoration is finely executed on high-quality white porcelain, characteristic of the prestigious German Meissen manufactory.
The base bears the blue crossed swords mark beneath the glaze as well as the shape number.
