Description
Elegant mechanical table clock from the early decades of the 20th century, made in hallmarked Sterling Silver and supplied with its original case lined inside with green silk and velvet.
The case is finely hand-engraved with floral motifs and features a refined pierced element depicting the Tree of Life, typical of the Art Nouveau style.
The clock is fitted with a French hand-wound mechanical movement, marked "French Movement", perfectly functioning and complete with its original winding key.
The combination of an English Sterling Silver case and a French movement is typical of high-quality production intended for the British market at the beginning of the 20th century.
