A rare and highly sought-after release from the legendary Brasserie Cantillon in Brussels, internationally renowned for its traditional spontaneously fermented lambics.
This exceptional 50°N-4°E is a blend of lambics brewed on 30 November 2016 and 6 December 2016, carefully matured in Cognac barrels before being bottled on 28 February 2020. The barrel maturation adds remarkable depth and complexity while preserving Cantillon’s signature character of vibrant acidity, minerality, subtle funk, and elegant Brettanomyces notes.
Produced in a limited quantity, this barrel-aged expression is considered one of Cantillon’s more collectible and desirable releases. It offers excellent ageing potential and represents an outstanding addition to any serious lambic collection.
