Description from the seller
A truly beautiful, completely original Junghans Art Deco pendulum clock from the 1920s-1930s. The arched, beautifully figured oak clock case is absolutely stunning and features two symmetrical sections on the front. The wood color is gorgeous, with flame figure (cordovan) running through it. The dial is in mint condition with elegant, slender, typically Art Deco hands, and the domed glass door has a chrome rim. The high-quality movement from Junghans has been ultrasonically cleaned, re-oiled, and leveled for perfect timekeeping. The striking mechanism is equipped with three hammers, producing a rich, multi-tonal, three-note chime. The chime can be turned off by sliding a lever over the chimes. Inside the door is the original quality label. A clock in this condition is rare to find and looks splendid on a cabinet or mantle, fitting into any interior style. Connoisseurs know how to estimate the value of this exceptionally beautiful pendulum clock, yet it is offered here without a minimum reserve price. The clock will be shipped including a key, carefully packaged.
