This rum was distilled in 1997 at Demerara Distillers Ltd and carries the rare ULR mark, produced on the famous Savalle Still originally associated with Uitvlugt Distillery.

The label describes it as an “Experimental light rum that was made in 1997 and barrelled”, making this bottling particularly significant from both a historical and collecting perspective.

The spirit matured entirely in the tropical climate of Guyana for 17 years, reaching an exceptional Angel’s Share exceeding 77%, a hallmark of Velier’s celebrated Full Proof Demerara series.
