Description from the seller
IN RISALTO
- Expertise report: Compliance Guarantee Federperiti
- Delivered new in Italy with manual transmission
- Rare version equipped with permanent all-wheel drive 4x4
- Original registration plates from the Aosta province
- Clean Carfax report with verified mileage
- Technical inspection valid with no defects found
HISTORY / OVERVIEW
The BMW 325iX E30 represents one of the most interesting and sought-after versions in the entire E30 range. Produced in relatively limited numbers, it was the first series-production BMW in the brand’s history to adopt permanent all-wheel drive 4x4, an advanced technical solution for its time that helped solidify the Bavarian house’s reputation even in the high-performance sports sedan segment.
The lot on offer, registered in 1989, is a rare Italian-spec manual-transmission version and stands out for its high degree of originality, the presence of first-registration plates from the Aosta province, and the Carfax report, which is free of anomalies and confirms the vehicle’s mileage.
EXTERIOR
The bodywork received a full exterior repaint a few years ago in the original factory color in the correct shade of Black Metallic, as reported by the identification plaque. The overall condition is very good, with only normal signs consistent with the age and regular use of the car.
A professional polishing and detailing treatment has recently been carried out to further enhance the aesthetic presentation.
Ultrasonic thickness testing did not reveal any signs of accidents or structural repairs, while the Carfax report is clean and confirms the mileage consistency.
The underbody is in original, well-preserved condition, free of welds and without evidence of accidents, confirming the good structural integrity of the example.
INTERIOR
The original interiors are in excellent preserved condition. The seats, finished in the classic fabric/leather combination typical of the version, are well maintained and show no notable signs of wear. The center console, the original steering wheel, door panels and the rest of the cabin are also in very careful condition and consistent with the car’s mileage.
A professional cabin sanitization treatment has recently been carried out.
MECHANICS
The car retains its original 2,494 cm³ inline-six engine, as stated in the registration certificate. The engine has always been kept in good working order, starts readily, and operates smoothly.
The transmission, clutch, and braking system operate correctly and allow regular use of the vehicle.
The latest technical inspection, passed in October 2025 and valid until October 2027, did not reveal any defects or anomalies.
The car is road-legal; as with any historic car, before undertaking long journeys a basic general check is advisable.
A rare BMW 325iX E30 with manual transmission, delivered new in Italy, complete with the original Aosta province plates, equipped with a Carfax report and characterized by a high degree of originality, a combination that makes it particularly interesting for E30 enthusiasts and BMW collectors.

Request help with registration from a third-party service provider.Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
