Description from the seller
A particularly decorative wall object consisting of five relief tiles with an elegant flower motif in soft green, cream, and ochre-yellow tones. The tiles are made of high-gloss ceramic and display the characteristic flowing lines and stylized botanical ornaments that strongly reference the Art Nouveau or Jugendstil movement from around 1900.
Although the design is clearly inspired by Art Nouveau, this version probably dates from the 1970s. During that period, historical styles, including Jugendstil and Art Deco, experienced a revival in interior and wall decoration. The combination of relief, organic lines, and the glossy glaze gives these tiles a pronounced decorative and almost sculptural appearance.
The five tiles form together a stylish vertical panel that immediately attracts attention. Perfect as wall decoration in a hallway, living room, conservatory, or in an interior where vintage and timeless design meet.
