Portico clock - Antieke kolompendule - Devaulx - Paris - Bronze - 1850-1900

Very beautiful antique fire-gilt bronze portico clock in the style of Napoleon III.

This elegant timepiece is crafted with four classical columns and a pendulum shaped like a sun god, visible behind the clock.

The whole is richly decorated with laurel wreaths, garlands and other refinedly worked bronze decorative motifs, giving the clock a particularly stately appearance.

The bronze dial bears the signature of Devaulx, referring to the Paris clockmaker.

This 19th-century clock has recently been serviced and is in excellent condition. It runs very well and is, of course, supplied with the pendulum, key and our warranty of good operation.
