Description from the seller
Vehicle first registered in Germany in 2006. Due to an administrative procedure, it remained unused until 2025, the year it was acquired by its current owner in Spain. Since then it has been registered and driven without any issues.
Once acquired by its current owner in Spain, the vehicle received full maintenance at an official BMW service. Likewise, a paint treatment was carried out at an official dealership.
In the Carfax report there may be a note related to an estimated amount between €3,000 and €4,000, but that intervention corresponds to official maintenance work and cosmetic paint upgrades, not to structural damage or a major repair.
We present a unique worldwide opportunity for collectors and motorsport investors: a 2006 BMW M5 E60 in museum-grade condition.
This unit has barely 3,800 real and guaranteed kilometers since leaving the factory, having been preserved in a controlled environment free from the elements.
This model represents the pinnacle of BMW M's golden era, being the first and only production sedan in history to be equipped with a naturally aspirated engine directly derived from Formula 1 technology.
An unreplicable collector’s piece in this state of preservation.
Technical and mechanical data
Engine: 5.0-liter V10 naturally aspirated (S85B50A)
Power: 507 HP at 7,750 rpm with a redline of 8,250 rpm.
Transmission: 7-speed automated manual SMG III with steering-wheel paddles.
Mileage: 3,800 real kilometers.
Drive: Rear-wheel drive (RWD) with a variable slip differential M.
Exterior color: Metallic gray/silver.
Condition status
Body and paint: Condition 1 (Excellent). The original exterior paint retains the factory deep shine, with no microrays (swirls), dents, or parking marks. Headlamps, tires, and exterior plastics are in pristine condition.
Interior: The cabin smells like a new car. Leather seats, dashboard, trim, and moldings show no signs of wear or aging. All electronic and comfort components work perfectly.
Mechanical and underside: The undercarriage is completely clean, with no rust or corrosion of any kind, retaining the original markings and labels from the BMW assembly line in Germany. The engine starts immediately and sounds with the refined yet aggressive characteristics of its 10-plenum V10 block.

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
