Antique Uran glass vase from Bohemia, circa 1910–1920, green glass with a star-foot and vertical prism-structure, 20 cm high with an 8 cm square base, in good condition with minor wear.
Description from the seller
Rare Uran glass vase with star foot & prism structure – Art Nouveau / Art Deco circa 1920 – Bohemia/Germany
For sale is a beautiful antique table vase made of radiant uranium glass (also known as Vaselinglas). The vase impresses with its elegant, geometric design from the early 20th century: it features a distinctive, star-shaped curved stand, a vertically ribbed prism structure on the slim body, and a hexagonal opening at the upper edge.
The absolute highlight for collectors: under UV black light, the glass reveals the characteristic, intensely glowing neon-green fluorescence, produced by the small amount of uranium oxide in the glass.
Details & condition:
Era: Art Deco / Jugendstil (c. 1910–1930)
Dimensions: Height approx. 20 cm, base approx. 8 x 8 cm.
Condition: The vase is in good, age-appropriate condition. There are extremely tiny, minimal signs of use or tiny flea-bites at the top hexagonal rim, which in no way detract from the decorative overall impression. The body and the star-shaped foot are very well preserved.
A fascinating collectible and a luminous eye-catcher for any display cabinet or Jugendstil collection!
The photos were taken under both regular daylight and UV light to accurately portray the spectacular luminescence.
Shipping is carried out extremely securely packed with tracking.
