A stunning and extremely rare Art Deco / Bauhaus period coffee pot and matching milk jug, manufactured by the renowned German maker WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik) in the early 1930s.
The absolute rarity of these pieces lies in their vibrant cherry red Bakelite handles and finial. While the vast majority of WMF's production during this era featured black Bakelite or wooden accents, this luxury color variant was produced in very limited quantities. Finding a matching set (coffee pot and milk jug) with red Bakelite is exceptionally difficult for collectors today.
The design perfectly embodies 1930s Modernism: sleek vertical lines, strict geometric shapes, and beautifully ribbed, faceted spouts. Both pieces feature the original vintage WMF hallmark stamped on the base.

Condition Report:
