Rare Japanese Super 8 camera (Shinsei Optical Works, ~1973), designed as a reflex body with an interchangeable lens — a feature almost unique in the Super 8 world, at a time when it technically rivaled Canon 814 XL-S or Nikon R8/R10, without the same commercial notoriety.
Equipped with its original Shinkor Zoom f/1.8, 6.5-65mm (10x zoom) lens, a high-quality parfocal lens: it maintains focus throughout the zoom, unlike many Super 8 lenses of the era.

Light signs of wear on the body and the lens.
There remains a transparent fungus trace on the glass between the optic and the camera. After analysis, it does not affect vision, and very, very slightly the result on film.
No dust in the lens, no defect to report.

New complete test of the camera performed on July 7, 2026. Everything is operational.
