Decorative tray - Center cup - Italy - 800 Silver Fruit Bowl

Centrepiece/fruit dish in 800-fineness silver, circular in form. The upper edge is grooved and decorated with a twisted cord. The basin has four side panels pierced with motifs of volutes and foliate patterns. Stamping visible “800” and a probable Italian maker’s mark in a lozenge on the edge. Weight 408 grams. Dimensions: maximum diameter approximately 26-28 cm, overall height about 9-11 cm, internal depth about 6-8 cm. Private provenance. Conditions good for its age: shows normal oxidation/tarnish, superficial scratches and signs of use. The pierced decorations are intact. Professional polishing is recommended to enhance the shine. Ornamental tabletop piece, ideal as a centerpiece or for fruit.
